The Broadcom Avago HFBR-2521Z fiber optic receiver is part of the HFBR-0500Z series versatile Link plastic fiber optic connection. It is a high performance active optical receiver designed to receive the optical signal at 5MBd bandwidth through 1.0mm core POF-Plastic Optical Fiber (also known as polymer optical fiber) and Hard Clad Silica (HCS) Fiber. And it must be working in pairs with the HFBR-1521Z Plastic Optical Fiber transmitter.
The Versatile Link series by Broadcom Avago, particularly the HFBR-0500Z series, is designed as a complete, low-cost solution for short-distance fiber optic communication. This series includes a variety of transmitters, receivers, connectors, and cables, making it easy to build and customize fiber optical transmission systems that meet the needs of specific applications.
